The Shopping add-on in Shift Browser automatically finds the best deals, coupons, and savings while you shop online. It is a native integration that lives inside your sidebar, so you don't have to install extra tools to save money.
Adding Shopping
Most versions of Shift come with Shopping pre-enabled so you can start saving right away. If you don't see it, check that you're running the latest version of Shift before you turn the feature on.

- Open Quick Settings by clicking the gear icon .
- At the bottom of the Quick Settings panel, click Advanced Settings. This will open a full-screen settings page.
- Select the About Shift Browser tab in the sidebar.
- On this page, you’ll see your current version of Shift and whether it’s up to date.
Turning the Shopping add-on ON:
- Open Quick Settings by clicking on the gear icon
.
- Click Advanced Settings.
- Go to the Add Ons tab.
- You’ll see a list of all available Shift add-ons and a toggle to turn it on or off beside each. Make sure the toggle is blue (ON) for Shopping to start saving!
Alt-Text: A screenshot of the Shift Advanced Settings menu showing the Add Ons tab with the Shopping toggle switched to the blue "on" position.
Removing Shopping
You're always in control of your workspace. If you prefer not to use the Shopping add-on, you can turn it off or remove it in just a few clicks.
To remove or disable Shopping:
- Open Quick Settings by clicking the gear icon
.
- Scroll down to Advanced Settings.
- Select Add-ons on the left-hand sidebar.

Turning off or removing Shopping won’t affect any of your accounts or browsing sessions in Shift. You can opt back in at any time.
