Using chrome extensions - not working

I'm using Clickup for project management, and I cannot for the life of me get the extension to work in Shift. It works directly in Chrome itself. I've noticed a few extensions are the same (Loom). Could this be a setting on my end?

The quickest troubleshooting would be to try removing and then re-adding the extensions that aren't working to see if that resolves the issue. This has worked for some extensions like LastPass.

Give that a try and let me know if that works! If not, I'd recommend submitting a Support ticket to support@shift.com so that our team can further investigate.

I have the same challenge with the Text Blaze extension. It won't load as it won't let me sign in with Google. This is a blocker for me and I will be uninstalling Shift

    Hi David,

Thanks for reaching out. I can confirm that this is a bug that we've recently discovered (issues with Google sign ins, not just for extensions) and we do have a ticket in with our Devs for this.

I will post here once we have a fix released in case you'd like to come back to Shift in the future.

I am experiencing a similar issue with the Raindrop extension, as it fails to load and prevents me from signing in. This is currently a significant blocker for my workflow, and I will be uninstalling Shift if this cannot be resolved.

    Hi there,

We've identified the issue as a bug with external windows opening (i.e. the Google SSO window) and we are currently in the testing phase of a fix.

Depending on how testing goes, this will be in the next update release or the one following.

I apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime! I'll update this thread once the fix is released.

    Hi zuberkhan034 and david

Just wanted to let you know that a fix for the multi-window SSO issue has been released in the newest version, 144.2.1. You can manually update by downloading Shift from the shift.com website, this will replace your existing version without disrupting your setup.

Alternatively, you can wait for us to push the update to Shift users and update within the product, although this may take another few days.

I just want to note that this SSO issue may be different from the original thread posted here for Clickup, so it's unclear if that issue has been resolved.
