Outlook Web App: "Open in new window" command not functioning inside Shift

Description The "Open in new window" feature in Outlook has stopped working. When selecting this option to view an email or a reply in a separate window, nothing happens. This issue started occurring a few days ago; previously, it worked without issues. I have already verified that pop-ups are allowed in the advanced settings, but the command remains unresponsive.

Steps to reproduce
1. Open the Outlook app inside Shift.
2. Right-click an email or click the "..." menu on a message.
3. Select the option “Open in new window”.
4. Observe that no window opens and the app remains on the current screen.

Actual result The command "Open in new window" is selected, but Shift fails to launch the separate window. No error message is displayed.

Expected result The selected email should open in a new, separate window to allow side-by-side viewing.

Frequency Every time.

    Hi there,

Thanks for your patience, and for sharing those additional details.

We’ve confirmed this is a bug affecting how new windows open in certain apps. The good news is that our team is actively working on a fix, and it’s currently scheduled to be included in the upcoming 144.2.1 update of Shift.

We’ll be sure to update this thread as soon as the fix is live.

I have been having the same problem for a few weeks already in many different apps: Zoho, Facebook - any time a new pop-up window opens e.g. for verification, nothing happens and the button to open the link behaves as “dead”.
