Introducing Shift AI ✨ Featured

We’re excited to announce the official launch of Shift AI, a new suite of features integrated directly into Shift. Get ready to experience a whole new way to work smarter, not harder! 

Key Features

• AI Chat: Ask about any page you’re on, search the web, pull in context from other tabs, use it as a standalone chat, & make it yours by adjusting your preferences in AI Chat settings. 
• Intelligent Omnibox: Ask questions directly in your search bar and transition seamlessly to AI conversations. 

Privacy and Security

User privacy remains our priority. All Shift AI interactions are secured via Cloudflare Privacy Proxy to ensure anonymity. Additionally, users maintain full control over their chat history. Shift AI is completely optional and can be enabled or disabled in Shift’s Quick Settings. 

Access Shift AI

Users can access AI Chat: 

• Through the AI icon 
• The keyboard shortcuts “Cmd/Ctrl + .” or 
• Press the Tab key when the "Ask AI" prompt appears in the search bar (make sure the Intelligent Omnibox is turned on to access Shift AI this way).
