Google Meet PiP not working

Google Meet picture in picture used to work a treat - the pop up would show as I moved to different tabs. It doesn't seem to work since the last update, even after I added the URL to the allowed pop up list and set the default setting to allow pop ups.

The screenshot below is what I get when I switch back to Google Meet from another tab during a meeting, and no pop up in the other tab

What should happen: The pop up should appear when switching to another tab during a meeting, then disappear when switching back to the meeting tab

Shift version: Version 144.2.1.128 (Official Build) (arm64)

OS: MacOS Tahoe 26.5

    I've submitted a bug ticket to our team - I'll keep you posted here for updates and when a fix is released.
