This guide will help you download and install Shift on your Windows computer.

System requirements

Before you start, make sure your computer has:

• Operating System: Windows 10 or newer (Shift is not compatible with older versions of Windows)
• RAM: At least 8GB to run smoothly

How to check your Computer's Info:

1. Open the Start menu
2. Type "Settings" in the search bar and click on it
3. Navigate to Settings > System > About
4. Here you'll find details like your Windows version and how much RAM you have

Note: Shift is currently not supported on Chrome OS, mobile devices, tablets, or laptops in "tablet" mode.

Downloading Shift

1. Open your web browser and navigate to Shift's website
2. Click on the “Download” button on the website
3. Once the download is complete, the “Shift.exe” file should appear in your browser's Downloads section

Can't Find the File?

• Press the Start button and type “File Explorer”
• Open File Explorer from the search results
• In File Explorer, click on “Downloads” in the left-hand pane
• Locate the “Shift.exe” file

Installing Shift

1. Double-click the “Shift.exe” file to start the installation process
2. An installation window titled “Setup - Shift” will appear. Click “Accept & Install” to start
3. Follow any on-screen instructions to finish installing
4. Once installed, Shift will launch automatically
