You can add your favorite extensions to Shift Browser easily! Integrating tools like password managers or design aids directly into your setup helps you maintain focus. These specialized tools live inside your Shift interface to support your deep work.
Add a new extension to Shift Browser
It's easy to bring your most-used tools into your Shift setup. Follow these steps to get started:
Click on the extension icon

Select "Add Extensions" to open the Chrome extension marketplace.
Use the search bar on the web page to find the extension you want.
Click on the specific extension and select "Add to Shift."
Log in if the extension prompts you. If a login tab doesn't open automatically, click the extension icon again and select the app to sign in.
View and pin extensions
Once you've added your extensions, you'll want to keep the most important ones visible. Pinned extensions appear as branded icons right in your main view.
Click on the extension icon

Click the checkmark icon next to any extension to pin or unpin it.
Look for your pinned tools beside the main extension icon for quick access.
Check the dropdown list for any extensions you've chosen to keep unpinned.
Manage and remove extensions
You can adjust your setup as your needs change. If you're finished with a specific tool, you can disable it or remove it entirely.
Click on the extension icon

Select "Manage Extensions."
Click "Details" to see more information about how a tool works.
Click the slider next to an extension to disable it without deleting your data.
Click "Remove" if you want to delete the extension from your setup completely.
