Shift now lets you choose your preferred language and customize spell-check settings, which makes browsing and typing more comfortable.

How to Find Language Settings

Follow these steps to access the Language settings:

1. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Quick Settings.

2. Scroll down and click Advanced Settings at the bottom of the menu.

3. On the left side, you’ll see a list of setting categories. Click Language.

4. You are now in the Language settings!

Change Your Preferred Language

Now you can change the language of any webpage in Shift to your preferred choice. Please note that it will only update to the language in the webpage you are in, rather than changing the language of Shift fully.

Here’s how to set it:

1. Navigate to Language settings.
2. Select Preferred language.
3. Click Add Language to choose a new one.
4. Restart Shift if the changes aren’t applied.
