Each team member has their own personalized browser setup, while the team admin manages billing and licenses.

1. What's the difference between Shift Advanced and Shift for Teams?

Shift for Teams includes all the features available in Shift Advanced, plus:

  • Centralized billing
  • A team management dashboard
  • Team license management
  • Admin controls

2. How much does Shift for Teams cost?

Shift for Teams costs $199 USD per user, per year. You can view the full pricing details on our website.

3. Can I control which apps or accounts my team members use?

No. Team members manage their own browser setup, including:

  • Spaces
  • Email accounts
  • Apps
  • Extensions

This gives each person the flexibility to build a workspace that fits their needs

4. Can I set up a default browser configuration for new team members?

No. Each team member starts with a fresh browser setup and can customize it to match their workflow.

5. Do I get reimbursed for unused team licenses?

No. Team licenses are billed annually.

Unused licenses aren't refundable during the subscription term, but you can reassign a license to another team member at any time.

6. What's the difference between a team admin and a team member?

Team admin

  • Manages billing.
  • Purchases licenses.
  • Adds and removes team members.
  • Accesses the team dashboard.

Team member

  • Use Shift Browser like an individual subscriber.
  • Doesn't have access to billing or team management features.

7. Can my team have more than one admin?

No. Each team currently supports one team admin.

8. Does my Shift Advanced discount apply to Shift for Teams?

No. Promotional discounts for individual subscriptions don't apply to Shift for Teams.

If you upgrade from an individual subscription, any applicable price difference is shown during checkout.

 Non-profit and Educator discounts are still available where applicable.

9. Are discounts available for Shift for Teams?

Shift for Teams isn't eligible for individual promotional coupons.
