How to Manage Shift Email Subscriptions

Whether you want to opt into our mailing list, take a break from promotional messages, or ensure our updates never get lost in your spam folder, you can easily manage your Shift email settings.

Subscribing to Shift Emails

Shift emails include helpful productivity tips, product release updates, and special promotional offers.

  • For Guests: You do not need a registered account to sign up. Simply head to the Shift Website, scroll down to the footer, and enter your email to subscribe.

  • For Account Holders: When you sign up for a primary Shift account, you are automatically opted into our update list to help you get started with the browser.

Unsubscribing from Shift Emails

You can opt out of promotional communications at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link located at the absolute bottom of any official Shift email.

Important Note: You cannot unsubscribe from system or transactional emails. These include subscription renewal notifications, account security alerts, billing invoices, and critical password reset messages.

How to Ensure Shift Emails Don't Go to Spam

To guarantee our tips or billing alerts always land safely in your inbox, add shift.com to your email client's safe senders list or whitelist. Find your specific provider below for step-by-step instructions:

Gmail

  1. Click the gear icon and select See all settings.

  2. Click on the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.

  3. Select Create a new filter.

  4. In the From field, type shift.com and click Create filter.

  5. Check the box for Never send it to Spam, then click Create filter to save.

Outlook / Office 365

  1. Open your Outlook settings panel and select View all Outlook settings.

  2. Click on Junk Email.

  3. Under Safe senders and domains, click the + Add button.

  4. Type shift.com and press Enter to save.

Yahoo Mail

  1. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner and select More Settings.

  2. Select Filters from the left menu and click Add new filters.

  3. Enter a filter name (e.g., "Shift").

  4. In the From field, set the condition to "contains" and enter shift.com.

  5. Select Inbox as the destination folder, then click Save.

Apple Mail (iCloud)

  1. Log into your iCloud Mail account via your web browser.

  2. Click the gear icon in the lower left corner and select Rules.

  3. Click Add a Rule.

  4. In the If a message dropdown menu, select is from.

  5. Enter @shift.com in the text field.

  6. In the Then dropdown menu, select Move to Inbox and click Done.

ProtonMail

  1. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner and select All Settings.

  2. Navigate to the Filters tab.

  3. Under the Whitelists section, click Add to whitelist.

  4. Enter shift.com and click Save.

AOL Mail

  1. Click on Options in the top right and select Mail Settings.

  2. Go to the Spam Settings tab.

  3. In the Sender Filter section, click Allow mail from addresses I specify.

  4. Enter shift.com and click Save Settings.

Zoho Mail

  1. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner to open Settings.

  2. Scroll to Anti-Spam List under the Email Administration settings.

  3. Click the Whitelist tab and select Add new whitelist.

  4. Enter shift.com (or specific Shift sender addresses) and click Save.
