How to Find and Customize Your Shift Receipts

Whether you need a copy of your initial purchase invoice, a past renewal statement, or need to add corporate tax information for expense tracking, all of your billing data can be managed directly within the Shift Account Portal.

Where to Find Your Receipts

1. Check Your Email (Via Stripe)

Every time you upgrade or automatically renew your subscription, a copy of your official receipt is emailed to your primary account email directly from our payment processor, Stripe.

  • Using a Shift Team Account? Only the designated Team Admin receives these automated automated billing emails. If you are the Admin and don't see it, please check your spam/junk folders.

2. Download from Your Transaction History

If you need a copy of an older statement, you can pull it directly from the portal at any time:

  1. Log into your Shift Account Portal.

  2. Navigate to the Transaction History tab on the left menu.

  3. Locate the specific billing date and click on the transaction to expand it.

  4. Click the link under the Invoice column to download a copy for your records.

How to Add Custom Details (VAT or Tax IDs) to a Receipt

If your accounting department requires corporate information, a VAT number, or a specific Tax ID to be displayed on your invoice, you can manually update your profile details to generate a modified receipt.

  1. Sign in to your Shift Account Portal and navigate to the Payment Details section.

  2. Scroll down to Company Details.

  3. Input your corporate credentials. Tip: We highly recommend using the Address Line 2 field to input your VAT or Tax ID.

  4. Click Update Details to save your changes. You will see a confirmation notification.

  5. Head back over to the Transaction History tab.

  6. Click the link under the Invoice column next to your payment to download your updated receipt with the newly added tax details.

Other Things You Can Do in the Account Portal

While retrieving your receipts, you can also use the portal main dashboard to:

  • Account Details: Review your default login email and current active plan tier.

  • Payment Details: Securely update or replace the credit card on file for future billing cycles.

  • Subscription: Manually manage, downgrade, or upgrade your active subscription.
