How to set a custom Space icon in Shift Browser

  • Updated

You can set a custom icon for any Space in Shift Browser by uploading an image. Custom icons help you quickly identify your Spaces in the sidebar.

You can upload your own image for a Space icon. For the best results, use a square image with a 1:1 aspect ratio.

Add a custom Space icon

Follow these steps to add your custom graphic to the sidebar:

  1. Open your Space settings for the Space you want to update.

  2. If you're making a new Space, follow the standard setup steps.

  3. If you're editing an existing Space, right-click the Space name and select Edit Space.

  4. Scroll down to the Avatar section.

  5. Click the upload icon.

  6. Select Browse files and pick the image you want from your computer.

Note: For the best results, use a square image (1:1 aspect ratio).
