Shift's Shopping add-on makes saving simple because it handles the research for you. We've designed it to be a native integration that lives right in your workflow. It focuses on two main goals:
Applying coupons: The tool finds and tests the best available discount codes when you reach a checkout page.
Comparing prices: You'll get an alert if a trusted retailer has the exact same product for a lower price.
You're always in control of your experience. You can let the add-on run in the background or manually click the icon to see available deals.
How to use the Shopping add-on
When you're shopping in Shift, the add-on detects savings opportunities in real time. Follow these steps to secure your discount:
Shop as usual: Add items to your cart on any supported retailer site.
Look for the icon: You'll see a small Shopping add-on icon appear in your window when coupons or price comparisons are ready.
Apply coupons: Click "Apply coupons" at checkout to let Shift test every code for you.
Confirm your deal: You'll see a quick confirmation once the best price is applied. If you already have the lowest price, Shift will let you know you've found the best deal.
Note: You can manage Shopping add-on prompts or turn the feature off anytime in Shift Advanced Settings > Add-ons > Shopping.
How price comparison works
- The Shopping add-on also helps you find better prices across supported retailers.
- When viewing a product, it automatically checks if the same item is available elsewhere for less.
- If a better deal exists, you’ll see a comparison pop-up showing the retailer, price difference, and a direct link.
- You can choose to view or buy from the lower-priced store — no need to search manually.
Where coupons and prices come from
The Shopping add-on works with trusted partners to keep discounts and pricing fresh, verified, and accurate.

- Price comparison is powered by Affiliate.com, which provides verified pricing feeds from supported retailers.
These partnerships ensure every coupon or comparison is reliable and up to date.
Your privacy and security
We believe privacy is a baseline expectation, not a premium feature. The Shopping add-on only collects the data it needs to find your discounts.
