Community forum guidelines

  • Updated

Please follow these guidelines to build a safe, organized, and helpful community space for all Shift users.

  1. Be respectful, helpful, and patient - Treat all users with courtesy and respect, regardless of their opinions or experiences. Avoid personal attacks, harassment, and inflammatory or abusive language. Approach responses in a helpful and patient manner.
  2. Constructive criticism - Feedback is encouraged, but ensure it’s specific, actionable, and presented in a helpful manner. Avoid negativity without suggestions for improvement.
  3. Search before you post - Avoid duplicating existing posts and keep the community organized and easy to navigate. The topic you’d like to post on might already be in the community with an answer!
  4. Stay on topic - Focus discussions and posts on topics that are directly relevant to Shift, its features, and its community.
  5. No spam or self-promotion - Avoid excessive promotion of yourself or unrelated products/services. Do not post spam to the community.
  6. Do not share Personal Information - Avoid sharing personal information as this is a public forum. For inquiries that require you to share personal information, please contact Support directly.
  7. Celebrate the community - Recognize and showcase positive contributions, creative uses of Shift, and helpful experiences within the community.

Moderators will remove posts and comments that do not adhere to these guidelines. Repeated breaches of these guidelines may result in Community members being suspended from posting.
