Does Shift Browser offer a free trial?

  • Updated

Short answer: Yes, Shift Browser offers a 7-day free trial of Shift Advanced.

You can start your free trial when you choose to upgrade in Shift Browser. To begin the trial, you will need to enter your payment details during checkout.

During the 7-day trial, you’ll have access to Shift Advanced features. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you keep the subscription, the trial will automatically convert to a paid monthly or annual plan after the 7 days are over.

How the free trial works

  1. Open Shift Browser and select an option to upgrade to Shift Advanced.
  2. Choose the 7-day free trial option.
  3. Complete checkout by entering your payment information.
  4. Use Shift Advanced free for 7 days.

Important: The free trial requires payment information to start. The trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the 7-day period unless you cancel before it ends.

Will I be charged right away?

No. You will not be charged when the trial starts.

Your payment method is collected at checkout so the subscription can begin automatically after the free trial ends. If you cancel before the 7-day trial period is over, you will not be charged.

Do I need to cancel the trial?

Only if you do not want the subscription to continue.

If you want to keep Shift Advanced, you do not need to do anything. Your trial will roll into a paid monthly or annual subscription automatically after 7 days.

If you do not want to continue, make sure you cancel before the end of the trial period.

What happens if I don’t complete checkout?

If you leave the checkout page before finishing, the trial will not begin, and no changes will be made to your account.
