If you've purchased Shift Advanced but your account shows as Free, or you're being asked to upgrade, you may be signed into a different Shift account than the one linked to your subscription.
Follow these steps to check your account.
Step 1: Check your Shift account
- Open Shift Browser.
- Check the email address associated with your Shift account.
- Go to Quick Settings > Advanced Settings > Account
- Make sure it matches the email address you used to purchase Shift Advanced.
If you use multiple email addresses, your subscription may be linked to another Shift account.
Step 2: Check your sign-in method
Make sure you're using the same sign-in method you used when creating your Shift account.
For example, if you originally signed up with Google or Microsoft, try signing in using that same option.
Recently migrated from Shift v9 (Legacy)?
Your Shift Advanced subscription is linked to your Shift account, not your previous Shift v9 installation.
You don't need to purchase Shift Advanced again after migrating. Your subscription should appear when you sign in to the Shift account linked to your active subscription.
Still seeing an Upgrade prompt?

To help us investigate, include:
