If you've migrated from Shift v9/Legacy to Shift Browser but some of your Spaces, apps, or other supported setup data didn't come across as expected, you may be able to import your v9 data again using Import Shift Data in Quick Settings.
This can help recover supported data from your previous Shift v9 setup without repeating the full migration process.
What can be imported from Shift v9/Legacy?
The import can restore supported setup data such as:
- Spaces
- Apps
- Custom apps
What isn't included?
The following aren't restored through this import:
- Open tabs
- Bookmarks
- Account sign-ins
You'll need to sign back into your newly imported email and app accounts after importing.
Missing bookmarks?
If your bookmarks didn't come across during the original migration, please contact Shift Support. We may have additional recovery options available.
Before you begin
If you've already started rebuilding your setup in Shift Browser, keep in mind that importing your v9 data may add additional Spaces or apps to your existing setup.
Note: You must be using Shift Browser version 147.2.2 or later to use the import option.
