  • Updated

If you’ve decided the App you’ve added to Shift isn’t for you follow the instructions below for how to remove your added Apps from Shift.

Method 1: Right-click the App

  1. Find the app you want to remove at the top right of Shift.
  2. Right-click on the app.
  3. Click "Remove App"
  4. A confirmation window will appear, click "Yes" to remove the app.

Note: Enabling "Don't ask me again" will not show the prompt for future app removals.

**The image above shows the top right corner of the Shift interface where the Email app is pinned and outlined in blue. A modal is open, displaying options such as "Hide Label," "Edit App," and "Remove App," with "Remove App" outlined in blue.

Method 2: Quick Settings

  1. Locate the settings wheel in the top right corner
  2. Under “Apps”, find the App you would like to remove
  3. Hover over this App, and a trash symbol will appear
  4. Press the trash symbol
  5. A prompt will appear, click "Yes" to remove the app.

Note: Enabling "Don't ask me again" will not show the prompt for future app removals.

The App will no longer appear; however, if you do decide you would like it back, you can re-add it to your setup at any time.  To add an App, check out this article here
