How the Manuals App integrates with your setup
The Manuals App was designed and built by Shift to help you find what you need without opening a million browser tabs. While it's a native Shift app, it works like any other app you add to your Shift setup. It lives inside a Space and stays open alongside your email and other tools.
Search for a manual in Shift Browser
To find a specific guide, you'll need two pieces of information handy:
The Brand: (e.g., Dyson, Nike, IKEA)
The Model or Make: (e.g., Airwrap, Air Max 270, Billy)
Once you have those details, follow these steps to locate your manual:
Locate the Manuals App in your setup and click to open it.
Input the Brand or Make into the first search field.
Input the Model into the second field.
Hit Search.
Browse the PDF results that appear on your screen.
Click the manual that matches your product to view it.
Since the app integrates directly into Shift, you can keep the manual open in one tab while you work in another. It's a simple way to manage your physical products through your digital workspace.
