You can sign in to your email account in Shift Browser using the Email app. Select your email provider, enter your credentials on the secure sign-in page, and your inbox will be available in your sidebar.

Connect your inbox to Shift Browser

Add your email account to the Email app to keep your inbox available inside your Shift sidebar.

1. Open the Email app from your Shift sidebar.

2. Select your email provider, such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, AOL Mail, or Apple Mail.

3. Wait for the secure login page to load.

4. Type in your email address.

5. Type in your password.

6. Confirm the login to stay signed in automatically.

Reset a forgotten password

If you can't remember your login details, you'll need to use the recovery tools provided by your email service. 

1. Select the Forgot password link on the provider's login screen.

2. Follow the steps provided by Gmail, Outlook, or your chosen service to verify your identity.

3. Create a new password.

4. Return to the Email app in Shift to log in with your new details.

After you sign in, your email stays available in your Shift sidebar so you can access it alongside your other apps.
