The Manuals App is a specialized, native integration in Shift Browser that helps you find documentation for thousands of products. While the Knowledge Base focuses on browser support, the Manuals App can be added to your Shift setup to provide direct access to external user guides.
Use the Manuals App in Shift Browser
Sometimes we've noticed that people look for specific product manuals directly in our support pages here on our knowledge base. We've built the Manuals App to give you a dedicated tool for these searches. This Shift-built integrated app allows you to easily search through thousands of online user manuals.
Add the Manuals App to your setup
You can add this specialized app to your setup in just a few seconds. Follow these steps to get started:
Click on the Add App icon

Type 'Manuals' into the search bar at the top of the App Library.
Click on the Manuals App to open the customization menu.
Give your app a name and select a color to help it stand out in your Space.
Adjust your app shortcuts if you'd like it to appear in other Spaces.
Click Add App to finish the setup.
Once it's added, the app will live inside your designated Space(s) for easy access anytime you need to troubleshoot a device or learn a new tool.
