The Weather App shows you the temperature, whether sunny, rainy, or cloudy, and gives a forecast for the next few days. This means you can know what the weather will be like before you go out.
Navigate to the Weather app
- Launch Shift on your computer.
- Click on the Weather app
to launch.
- You may be prompted to share your location with the Weather App.

Check the Weather
- See the Current Weather: The app will show today’s temperature and other weather factors, such as humidity and wind speeds, when you open it.
- View the Forecast: Scroll or swipe to see what the weather will be like tomorrow or later in the week.
How to Check Weather for a Different Place
- Navigate to the search box in the sidebar of the Weather app
- Type the name of the city or town you want to check.
- Select the location from the list that pops up.
Tips for Using the Weather App
- Plan your day: Check the app in the morning to know if you need a jacket, sunscreen, or an umbrella.
- Be ready for tomorrow: Look at the forecast for the next day to plan ahead.
- Be prepared with Extreme Weather Warnings: When downloaded to your Shift setup, the Weather app will popup Extreme Weather Warnings for your local area so you can stay safe and be aware!
