Shift for Teams costs $199.99 USD per user each year. We use a single annual renewal date for your whole team to keep billing simple. Any new licenses you add during the year are prorated, so you only pay for the time you actually use before the next renewal.
Understanding Shift team pricing
Our team plan is built for groups that want to work faster together. Each license gives a team member full access to our productivity tools. We bill annually to ensure your team has uninterrupted service.
Annual Rate: $199.99 USD per user/year.
Shared Cycle: All users on your team share the same billing date.
Native Features: Includes the team dashboard, which is a specialized app that lives in your sidebar.
Creating a team & purchasing additional licenses
As your team grows, you can add more seats through the account portal. This process is a native part of the Shift Browser management experience. Check out this article to follow our step-by-step guide on starting a new Shift team.
How to add licenses to your team
- Visit the Shift account portal.
- Navigate to the Teams tab.
- Click Purchase to buy additional licenses.
- Enter the email addresses of the users you want to invite.
Managing renewals and prorated charges
We use one renewal date for the entire team. This date is set by when the admin first bought the team plan. If you add a member halfway through the year, we'll only charge you for the remaining months.
For example, if you add a seat six months into your cycle, you'll pay roughly half the annual cost. When the next renewal date hits, every seat on the team renews at the full price at once. This keeps your records clean: you'll never have to track different payment dates for different people.
Adjusting your plan
You've got the power to change your license count before your plan renews. We want to make sure you're only paying for what you need.
Reducing license counts
If you need to remove users, follow these steps:
Log in to the Shift account portal.
Navigate to the Teams tab.
Remove the users who no longer need access.
Contact Shift Support to tell us how many licenses you want to keep for the next year.
Mid-term changes
If you need to cancel or reduce seats in the middle of your year, please reach out to us. We handle these requests case-by-case to find the best fix for your team.
