You can organize your Shift layout by using spacers, grids, and separators to create a clean and efficient workspace. These tools help you organize your browser layout by adding spacing and visual separation between apps, bars, and controls.

Spacers add blank space to your layout. They create space between apps, controls, and other layout elements.

  1. Open Quick Settings and click "Build your Browser" to open the Builder.

  2. Navigate to the Controls section

  3. Drag a spacer into your toolbar or sidebar layout.

  4. Click and drag the spacer to reposition it anywhere you like.

  5. Remove the spacer by dragging it back into the customization panel.

Grids let you arrange your apps, bookmarks, and controls in neat rows and columns. They help organize apps, bookmarks, and controls into a structured layout.

  1. Open Quick Settings and click "Build your Browser" to open the Builder.

  2. Navigate to the Controls section

  3. Drag a Grid into your sidebar or toolbar.

  4. Place your desired items inside the grid container to align them automatically.

  5. Move the entire grid framework by clicking and dragging its outer edge.

  6. Remove the grid by dragging it back into the customization panel.

Separators are thin lines that create a clear visual break. Use them to visually separate groups of apps, controls, or other layout elements.

  1. Open Quick Settings and click "Build your Browser" to open the Builder.

  2. Navigate to the Controls section

  3. Locate the Separator tool in the layout settings.

  4. Drag it directly between any two apps or shortcut buttons.

  5. Remove it anytime by dragging it back to the menu.
