Good news! You can use your Shift account on as many supported devices (Mac and Windows desktops) as you like—at no extra cost. Your Shift setup, including email accounts and apps, will sync across devices. Learn more about Sync below.
Steps to set up Shift on another computer

Download Shift:
- Go to Shift.com and download Shift to your other computer

Log in to your existing account:
- Open Shift
- Sign in using your Shift Account email

Head to Advanced Settings to make sure Sync is turned on:
- Click the settings icon
to access the Quick Settings drawer.
- At the bottom of the drawer, click “Advanced Settings”.
- Select the “Accounts & Preferences” option from the left sidebar.
- Select “Sync & Shift Services” for all settings related to sync.
- Ensure Sync is Turned On.
- Click the settings icon
- Shift will now sync between your devices!
What will sync?
When you use Shift on multiple computers, some information and features will not sync across devices. Here’s what will and won’t sync:

*Open web tabs will not sync between computers and tabs will not open from other browsers. Tabs can be found and recovered through Quick Settings > History and will need to be reopened manually.
