Shift AI now supports image generation directly in chat. You can create, download, and refine AI-generated images without leaving the conversation.

Generate an Image

To create an image:

1. Open a chat in Shift AI.
2. Enter a text prompt describing the image you want.
3. Press Enter or click Send.
4. Shift AI will generate the image directly in the chat window.

Example prompts:

• “Create a futuristic city skyline at sunset.”
• “Generate a watercolor painting of a mountain landscape.”
• “Design a minimalist logo for a coffee shop.”

Download an Image

Once an image is generated, you can download it directly from the chat window for use in presentations, documents, social media, or other projects. Click the “Download” button below the image to download.

Edit an Existing Prompt

If you'd like to refine the image:

1. Edit your previous prompt.
2. Resubmit the updated prompt.

Shift AI will:

• Remove the previously generated image response
• Generate a new image based on the updated prompt

This is useful for making adjustments like:

• Changing colors or styles
• Adding or removing objects
• Improving image details

Generate Variations with New Prompts

You can also keep the original image and submit a completely new prompt to create additional variations.

New prompts can build on previous ideas, allowing you to iterate and explore different versions of an image without overwriting earlier results.

Example:

• First prompt: “A modern workspace with plants”
• Second prompt: “The same workspace at night with neon lighting”

Tips for Better Results

• Be specific in your prompts
• Include style references (e.g. “photorealistic”, “cartoon”, “oil painting”)
• Mention colors, lighting, mood, or composition details
• Iterate with small prompt changes to refine results faster
