You can add apps to Shift Browser from the App Library. Open the Add apps (+) button in your sidebar, choose an app, and add it to your current Space.

Apps added to Shift are available in your current Space and appear in your sidebar, making it easy to access your web tools without searching through browser tabs.

Add a new app to Shift

Follow these steps to expand your sidebar and find your everyday software tools:

1. Click the Add apps icon (+) in the sidebar.

   • If the Add apps (+) button isn't available, select the Add (+) button, then choose Add app.

2. Search for the tool you need in the App Library.

3. Click Add app.

4. Give the app a name, pick a color, or create a shortcut if you want to.

5. Click Add app again to finish the setup.

Edit an existing app

You can update an app's name, color, or other settings at any time.

1. Right-click the app icon in your sidebar.

2. Select Edit app from the menu.

3. Make your changes in the settings box.

4. Click Save.

Your updates apply instantly.
