How to clear cache, cookies & history in Shift Browser

  • Updated

You can clear your cache, cookies, and browsing history in Shift Browser by heading to the Privacy and Security section in your settings. This helps fix loading issues and keeps your browser running fast. You can choose to wipe data for your entire browser or just for one specific app.

Manage your data

Clearing your data is a great first step if an app feels sluggish. Keep in mind that clearing cookies will log you out of most apps and emails. This is because Shift removes the "stale" data that keeps you signed in.

If you're only having trouble with one email account, it's often easier to remove and re-add that specific account. If an app is acting up, try adding a second instance of that app to see if a fresh login fixes the problem.

How to clear all browsing data

This method clears data across every Space and app in Shift.

  2. Go to Advanced Settings > Privacy and Security.
  3. Click Delete browsing data.
  4. Choose either the Basic or Advanced tab.
  5. Under Time range, select All time.
