  • Updated

Do you have more than one PDF file and need to combine them into one file? You can absolutely do it with the PDF app in Shift. Read below to learn more about it.

How to merge PDF files in Shift

  1. Open the PDF app at the top right corner of your Shift browser and navigate to the left-hand side, where you will find the options to manage PDF files
  2. Click on "Merge" and select "Choose files"
  3. Select the files you want to merge and click "Open". You can select one or multiple PDFs
  4. Rearrange the pages as per your preferences (keep reading for more info on this). You can also add more pages by clicking on the "Add PDF" option
  5. Click "Save" at the top right corner to save the merged file

After that, you will find the merged file under "My PDFs" on the main app page.

Reorder pages within your PDF

  1. On the first screen after adding the PDFs you want to merge, you will see thumbnails of each page in the now-merged document
  2. Click and drag the page thumbnails to reorder the pages as needed. This can be done with pages from a single PDF or across multiple PDFs.
  3. Ensure that you arrange the pages in the desired order before proceeding to save
