All about customized layouts in Shift Browser

  • Updated

Shift Browser lets you customize your browser layout by dragging and dropping apps, bars, and controls. Use the Builder to create a setup that fits how you work.

Why you will love custom layouts in Shift Browser

Most browsers are prebuilt and rigid, but Shift is preconfigured for you to build. We believe your tools should adapt to you, not the other way around. By creating a custom layout, you can:

  • Design your own layout: Place your most-used apps, bars, and controls where you need them.

  • Reduce digital clutter: Remove buttons or bars that you do not use to stay focused.

  • Switch contexts easily: Create different spaces for work, hobbies, or passion projects.

What are custom layouts in Shift Browser

Custom layouts let you design your digital command center by adjusting your workspace composition. You can customize your layout by:

  • Adding or removing toolbars to structure your setup

  • Rearranging apps to fit your workflow

  • Adding or removing layout controls for faster access to key actions
