How to cancel your Shift subscription

  • Updated

You can cancel your Shift Browser subscription at any time through the Account Portal. Shift uses an annual billing model that renews automatically, but you're in total control of your account and can opt out whenever you like. Follow the steps below to manage your individual or team plan.

Subscription Policy

Shift subscriptions bill on an annual basis. Since our paid plans use an opt-out model, you'll need to cancel before your renewal date if you don't want to renew for another year. Canceling before your renewal date will not immediately downgrade your Advanced features, they will remain active until your renewal date. So to avoid a new annual charge, please cancel well in advance of your renewal date.

We'll send you email reminders 30 and 7 days before your renewal date to make sure you're always informed. You can also always reach out to Shift Support to inquire about your renewal date.

Note that an expired credit card will not necessarily result in a cancelled account and you may still be charged. Many credit card providers, like Visa and Mastercard, will send out updated card info to the network to avoid interruptions in service. To ensure no charge, please cancel your subscription.

You can find all the fine details in our Subscription Terms of Use.
