You can control where and how files save in Shift Browser by adjusting your preferences in the Advanced Settings menu. Customizing these settings helps you keep your files organized and streamlines your daily workflow.
How to find download settings in Shift Browser
Follow these steps to access and manage your download preferences:
Click the Quick Settings icon
in your browser.
Select Advanced Settings at the bottom of the menu.
Click the Downloads category on the sidebar to open your configuration options.
Adjusting your download preferences
Once you're in the Downloads section, you can tailor how Shift handles incoming files to better suit your needs.
Location: Change the destination folder for your files. Click Change to select a specific folder, then click Select Folder to confirm your new save location.
Ask where to save each file: Toggle this option ON if you prefer to choose a destination manually every time you download a file.
Show downloads when they’re done: Toggle this option ON to have Shift display a notification in a small modal at the top-right of your window as soon as a download finishes.
