How to access Advanced settings in Shift Browser

You can access Advanced settings in Shift Browser by clicking the Quick Settings gear icon, then selecting Advanced settings at the bottom of the panel. From there, you can manage browser settings such as privacy, appearance, performance, passwords, startup behavior, and more.

Fine-tune your Shift Browser settings

Quick Settings are designed for common adjustments. Advanced settings provide access to additional browser preferences so you can customize how Shift Browser looks and behaves.

How to open Advanced settings

  1. Click the Quick Settings gear icon Quick Settings.svgin the top-right corner of Shift Browser.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the panel and select Advanced settings.
  3. Browse the categories in the left sidebar to manage your browser settings.

What you'll find in Advanced settings

  • Autofill and passwords: Manage saved passwords and autofill information.
  • Appearance: Customize themes and other visual settings.
  • Startup behavior: Choose what opens when you launch Shift Browser.
  • Languages: Set your preferred browsing and spellcheck languages.
  • Performance: Adjust browser performance options.

  • System: Configure browser system settings.
